Business Concept & Strategy

Tyre & Wheelcare is a newly established tyre and wheel care services company set up by a group of investors that have wide range of technical and management experience in business. Although the company is not the first to introduce this innovative product in the Nigerian market, we are however one of the pioneers of the business.


In terms of facilities, T & W is recognized as the first to build a 4-bay, purpose-built computerized workshop in Nigeria. In this regard, it enables the workshop to handle several vehicles at the same time for major services as tyre patching, wheel balancing and alignment. In addition, the company has equally introduced for the first time, a mobile workshop under which, customers can call in by telephone for tyre checking, removal, fixing, patching, rotation, gauging and inflation on a multi-locational basis.

                                                               
The initial target market for our services include medium to large corporates, organizations, and high net-worth individuals riding exotic and valued passenger cars and SUVs. Service will also be provided to mini-vans and light trucks with a maximum weight capacity of 3 tons.

Our business strategy is to operate in a manner that corporate customers can be serviced under agreement such that, payments can be made in arrears on a monthly basis. However, for individuals, payments will be made on “cash and service” basis.

Provision has been made for on-line and direct-credit payment arrangements through bank accounts both for pre-payments and end of month settlements.
Our service provision is a technology-enhanced process in that most of our equipment are computerized and as such, immediate service delivery is assured.
     
T & W marketing and development strategy will be handled at the highest level of the Company and will be multi-dimensional. The following processes will be adopted:

  • Direct marketing to corporate institutions and organizations, as well as, the executives of such bodies who also own their personal automobiles that require our services.
  • Direct and indirect contact with high networth individuals in their personal capacities for their vehicles.
  • Deliberate pursuit of and creating a proper relationship management process for both existing and potential customers.

Moreover, our pricing will be tailored along those pricing models for similar services in other geographies which is basically a “per transaction” model for each service enjoyed.

Overall, this business is geared towards revolutionizing the tyre and wheel handling services in Nigeria.
